Foundation Housing now manage 36 properties across Bridgend Borough
Following on from our highly successful launch in 2008 and our nomination by the local authority for the Private Sector Partnership Award in the Cymorth Cymru Awards 2009, Foundation Housing now manages 36 properties across the Borough.
2010 has also seen a further partnership develop between the Bridgend After Care Team, the Homelessness Department, Hafod Housing Association, Foundation Housing and Yellow Wales. Using two Hafod owned properties in the Borough, Foundation Housing manages these properties and the tenancies of two young people leaving the Care System. Foundation Housing is working closely with the Homelessness and After Care teams to ensure that the young people learn to maintain successful temporary tenancies in readiness for move on into permanent accomodation. The Young people are also supported with their daily living skills and training opportunities by Yellow Wales, in order to live independently and to provide them with future working opportunities.
Foundation Housing, Hafod Housing Association and Yellow Wales are all members fo the Hendre Group.
