New Private Leasing Scheme With Bridgend Council

On 25th April 2008 Foundation Housing and Hafod Housing Association launched its new private leasing scheme in Bridgend. The launch presentation was attended by a large number of private landlords from the locality along with Councillors and officials from Bridgend Council.

The partnership agreement between Bridgend Council/Hafod Housing and Foundation Housing is for a leasing scheme of 20 properties across the Borough. Properties required range from 1 to 3 bedrooms for singles, couples and families. The properties will be used by the Council as temporary accommodation for homeless families awaiting permanent homes in the Borough.

Foundation Housing is still looking to expand its property numbers in the following local authorities:

Newport

We require 1 bed properties preferably with their own front door access (no communal doorways).

Cardiff

We require 1, 2 and 3 bed properties across all areas of the City.

Caerphilly

We require 1 bed properties preferably with their own front door access (no communal doorways).

Bridgend

We require 1, 2 and 3 bed properties across the Borough.
